Automatically Mute you Mac when you on a Phone Call.

Absurdly simple application used to make a GET request when you answer your phone (or make a call) and a separate one when you end the call. I currently use it to mute my Mac when a call comes in, or to pause MythTV when a call comes in. See http://www.coteyr.net/articles/31 for full instructions.

What's New in the Latest Version 1.1

Last updated on May 9, 2016 Added a check to try to only mute once per call (was attempting to mute several times based on conditions). Also changed to use the defaults to use the new Mac App for muting. The mac application is available at the link above.
