With the FranceTerme application access to more than 7,000 terms at all times which designate in French innovations and new concepts. These terms are offered by experts from many specialized areas (economy and finance, environment, health, sports, culture, IT, defense, transport, etc.) which participate in the official enrichment of the French language.
Simple as a crowdfunding, or more complicated as an anaerocombustion, each term is presented with its definition and its foreign equivalent (most often English).
The application, free and free, is a precious tool for expressing themselves in French: writing or translation of a document, an article, a note, a specifications, a commercial proposal ...
The application also allows you to share your proposals for new technical terms that will be transmitted to experts.
Once installed, the application can be used without connection to the network.

This application received the support of the General Delegation to the French language and the languages of France (Ministry of Culture and Communication). It is developed and published by the separate company from the FranceTerme dataset available in license open to the data.gouv.fr site.
