This year's GSS takes place at the Rhodes house, Oxford, UK from 11 to 13th of May 2018.
The Global Scholars Symposium (GSS) invites international thought leaders to engage with 150+ postgraduate scholar representatives in a four-day dialogue on pressing global issues. Founded in 2008 by Gates scholars at the University of Cambridge, GSS expanded to include scholars from 51 countries across 9 prestigious scholarship schemes in the UK. Since 2017, the symposium has broadened the audience and opened the invitation to all graduate students. We hope that this stimulating programme of talks, workshops and networking activities will serve as a stepping stone for such reflections to flourish across institutions, scholarships and disciplines.
